Well, proverbs, it seem like hard to understand some of them, I think to understand a proverb, you should infer what is the under line meaning of it, sometime it is hard. Anyway I prefer No.6 Write the bad things that are done to you in sand, but write the good things that happen to you on a piece of marble. if you write the bad things on the sand, sea will bring them away. However, if you write the good things on a piece of marble, you remember that things when you see the marble. it means that you should remember the good memory and forget the bad memory, so time flew, you will only remember good things and forget about bad things. That lifestyle could keep you a good mood cause you only remember good things. That is also one of my codes I try to follow.

I want talk about another story. Have you ever heard about the story about Siddhartha Gautama, which is called Sakyamuni too, feed a eagle by himself ? that is another interesting about Buddhism, it quite long so I will just mention here if you really want to know you could click the link below and read that story.

  1. I disagree that proverb because if you forget the bad things easily, you might make the same mistakes agian. I think to remember the bad things is also important. Life is complicated.

  2. Interesting point Yuki... it says the bad things 'that are done to you'. Does that make a difference? maybe we can learn from our mistakes without holding on too tightly to the bad things others do to us or say about us.
